Judy Kwon, DDS

Dr. Kwon is a native North Carolinian who first came to the D.C. Metro area in 1996 for a health policy internship. After completing her undergraduate studies and graduate dental education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with honors, she became a Virginian in 2004!
Prior to starting her private practice in Reston, VA, Dr. Kwon completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at UCLA Medical Center. She continues to pursue post-graduate training at many of the top dental training institutes in the world including the Las Vegas Institute, the Seattle Institute, the Pankey Institute and the Nash Institute for Dental Learning to ensure that she has the most current scientific literature and knows the latest techniques to give the best quality of care to her patients. She has been recognized as a Top Dentist by Virginia Living Magazine as well as the National Consumer Advisory Board.
Dr. Kwon feels immense joy when she is able to improve patients’ smiles and is known for her gentle and compassionate care. Whether treating dental patients at an orphanage in Mexico or in Ecuador while on a medical mission trip, to treating patients in the South Riding and the surrounding communities of Virginia, Dr. Kwon has devoted her 20-year career to providing excellent and compassionate dental care, always with her patient’s best interest at heart.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and chasing after her two active sons, Luke and Michael, and her youngest family member, Bonnie, a Maltese/Shih-tzu bundle of joy.
Yun Suk Noh, DMD

Dr. Noh attended the university of Michigan where he received a BS in cell molecular biology and an MSE in biomedical engineering. Then he went to Boston University to earn his DMD degree. Knowing he wanted to specialize in periodontics as an undergrad, he then attended Columbia University for his residency in periodontics. Dr. Noh received extensive training in all aspects of periodontics including surgical/nonsurgical periodontal therapy, mucogingival surgery, bone grafting, dental implants, etc.
Dr. Noh believes treatment should be patient centered. The treatment plan should be tailored for each individual patient. He also believes all types of treatment should be evidence based, with scientific backing. Promoting not only oral health but also the patient’s overall well-being should be emphasized.
Dr. Noh was raised in various parts of the world since childhood. So naturally, he really enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. He also likes to snowboard during the winter season.
Lina Raffo, DMD

Dr. Lina Raffo is a San Diego native who moved to the Northern Virginia area with her husband one year ago. She completed her dental degree in 2019 at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, California, graduating in the top 10% of her class. Because of her hard work and dedication, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an elite national dental honor society. She then completed a rigorous hospital residency at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System. There, she honed her abilities to assess the medical complexities of patient care, enhanced her surgical and dental skills and gained a better understanding of comprehensive treatment planning and care. In addition, she gained experience handling emergency and trauma calls during her rotation at Stanford Hospital, a level 1 trauma hospital.
Dr. Raffo’s passion for dentistry began when she volunteered for the UCSD Pre-dental Society free dental clinics and witnessed dentistry’s positive impact on patients’ confidence and ability to function. Her main goal is to provide patients with quality dental care and empower them to care for their dental and overall health. She strives to make her patients comfortable in the dental chair and treats her patients with compassion and empathy.
Dr. Raffo believes in lifelong learning and stays current on the latest advancements in dentistry by completing multiple continuing education courses per year. She is a member of the American Dental Association®, American Academy of General Dentistry and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
In her free time, Dr. Raffo enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures, hiking and cooking. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and exploring the Northern Virginia area, particularly the restaurant scene. She is open to any restaurant recommendations. She speaks three languages: English, Arabic and Chaldean Neo-Aramaic.
Fun fact: Dr. Raffo completed her dental degree and residency alongside her twin sister, Mina!
Gurvina Arora, DDS

Dr. Arora was born and raised in the greater Northern Virginia area, and she has deep roots in the community she serves. Her educational journey took her to Virginia Tech, where she earned a B.S. in biological sciences and forged lasting connections, including meeting her husband. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, she obtained her D.D.S. from VCU School of Dentistry and completed her General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Hospital.
Dr. Arora is not just a dentist; she’s a passionate advocate for improving patients’ oral health. Her commitment to being a lifelong learner ensures that she stays informed about the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the best care possible.
Beyond the dental chair, you’ll find Dr. Arora exploring her diverse interests, from traveling and reading to honing her culinary skills. An avid runner and enthusiastic skier, she brings the same energy and dedication to her profession, ensuring every patient receives personalized and top-notch care.
